At present, India is in fifth place and is ahead of America, China, Japan and Germany. If the Indian economy comes in third place, then it means that the country will leave behind Germany and Japan in terms of economy.

Former Chief Economic Adviser Arvind Virmani says that India is progressing at a fast pace on the economic front and according to his forecast for 2028-2030, the country will become the third largest economic power in the world by 2030. Arvind Virmani says that there is a trend of economic development which is important and it will also affect our foreign policy. In the next 20 years, we will see that we are a little behind China and this will change the attitude of people, countries towards us.

Sachin Chaturvedi, DG, Research and Information System for Developing Countries, says that this is not the first time that India has overtaken Britain. In the year 2019 also, the country had achieved this position. Now we are focusing on capital expenditure and working on reducing revenue expenditure. Apart from this, the Reserve Bank of India’s strategy to reduce inflation will also help the country’s economy to move forward in a balanced way and we will see good results.

Economic expert Charan Singh says that this is a proud moment for India and we are growing at a fast pace on the economy front. Inflation is almost under control. The IMF has been saying for a long time that India will continue to be the fastest growing economy. At the same time, the UK economy has suffered and is not performing well. Regarding our growth, it can be said that it will be sustainable growth. While the threat of economic slowdown is looming in the world, the Indian economy is flourishing.
