Mukesh Ambani accorded Z+ security

The government has decided to increase the security arrangements of Mukesh Ambani, the head of Reliance Industries. If sources are to be believed, Mukesh Ambani has now been given Z Plus category security.

Mukesh Ambani, chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries Limited, was earlier given 'Z' category security. The Home Ministry was considering increasing the security of Mukesh Ambani after the bombing incident last year outside Antilia, the residence of billionaire industrialist Mukesh Ambani.

The government has taken this decision after the IB report in which Mukesh Ambani's life has been described as a threat. According to the Intelligence Bureau report, Mukesh Ambani is in danger. Mukesh Ambani will have to bear the entire cost of this security arrangement. Even before this, Reliance had been bearing the cost of Z category security.

Earlier, there was also a controversy regarding the security of Mukesh Ambani's Z category. The matter then went to the Supreme Court. Where the top court ruled in favor of Mukesh Ambani.

What is z plus security

According to the Yellow Book of Security, VVIPs who are given Z+ category security, have a tremendous security cover around them. This is the biggest security system in India after SPG security. According to the information received, 58 commandos are deployed in the security of Z + category. In which there are 10 NSG jawans or commandos of the same level, who guard 24×7. If the need is felt based on intelligence inputs, additional security is also provided.
