Mukesh Ambani: Expressing his Gujarat Pride, the chairman of Reliance Industries Limited, Mukesh Ambani has recently said that ” Reliance was, is and will always remain a Gujarat company. The Billionaire said this while he was addressing the inaugural ceremony of VGGS 2024 in the district of Gandhinagar in his home state on Wednesday. Mukesh Ambani also mentioned that Reliance Industries Limited has made a total investment of $150 billion in the last ten years.

“I am a proud Gujarati, and Reliance was, is, and will always remain a Gujarati company,” Ambani said.

Addressing PM Narendra Modi, he said, “You have laid a solid foundation for ‘Viksit Bharat’. No power on earth can stop India from becoming a $35 trillion economy by 2047. And as I see, Gujarat alone will become a $3 trillion economy,” he said.

Reliance CMD Said…

The RIL CMD made five commitments to Gujarat. “We will help Gujarat’s target to meet half of its energy needs through renewable energy by 2030.” He also announced expansion plans for Reliance retail to support farmers and small retail merchants. Speaking about the 5G rollout in Gujarat by Reliance Jio, he said, “The 5G-enabled AI revolution will make Gujarat’s economy more productive, efficient and globally competitive.” He added, “Reliance will make Gujarat a pioneer in new materials and the circular economy. As a first step, Reliance is setting up India’s first carbon fibre facility at Hazira.”
