Petrol And Diesel Price Update [9 July 2023]: Fuel prices are updated daily by national oil companies. According to the prices of petrol and diesel updated today, no change has been seen in the price of oil over the last 412days. On May 21 of last year, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman reduced the excise duty on petrol by Rs 8 per litre and on diesel by Rs 6 per litre, resulting in the latest nationwide revision of fuel prices. Individual cities, however, experience regular prices changes.

The difference in the price of fuel in the states is due to the tax and the cost of transportation imposed by the central and state government.

How to check petrol and diesel price in your city:

Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum, and Hindustan Petroleum revise fuel rates daily, taking into account crude and rupee-dollar rates in international markets. Daily price changes for fuel are effected at 6 am every day.
