Petrol And Diesel Price Update: Petrol and diesel prices for Wednesday, December 13, have been released by oil companies in the country. It’s worth mentioning that there was a rapid increase in crude oil prices in international markets yesterday.
The global oil benchmark, Brent crude, rose by 0.39% to reach $76.33 per barrel. However, providing relief to the public, Indian oil companies have announced fuel prices at the national level. These prices are updated daily at 6 AM for both petrol and diesel.
Fuel rates major cities of the country:
- In Delhi, the price of petrol is ₹96.72 per liter, and diesel is ₹89.62 per liter.
- In Mumbai, the price of petrol is ₹106.31 per liter, and diesel is ₹94.27 per liter.
- In Chennai, the price of petrol is ₹102.63 per liter, and diesel is ₹94.24 per liter.
- In Kolkata, the price of petrol is ₹106.03 per liter, and diesel is ₹92.76 per liter.
How To Check Petrol and Diesel Prices Update:
To check fuel prices in your city through SMS, state governments apply Value Added Tax (VAT) based on their calculations, resulting in varying fuel prices. Indian Oil (IOCL) customers can send an SMS with the RSP code to 9224992249 to get daily petrol and diesel prices.
