Petrol And Diesel Price Update [16 October, 2023]: New rates of petrol and diesel have been released in the country. According to the new rates of oil companies, there has been a change in the prices of petrol and diesel from Noida to Bihar. Whereas the prices of petrol and diesel remain stable in the country’s capital.
Fall in crude oil prices
During the war between Israel and Palestine, a sharp increase in the price of crude oil was seen, but today its price has declined. WTI crude oil is trading at $ 85.94 per barrel, falling 0.47 percent. Whereas branded crude oil was trading at $ 90.47 per barrel, falling by 0.36 percent. This fall in the price of crude oil has come after several days of rise.
Fuel rate in metropolitan cities:
The price of petrol in New Delhi was Rs 96.72 and diesel 89.62, in Mumbai the price of petrol was Rs 106.31 and diesel 94.27, in Kolkata the price of petrol was Rs 106.03 and diesel 92.76 and in Chennai the price of petrol was Rs 102.74 and diesel Rs 94.33 per liter.
Petrol and diesel became cheaper in these cities
In Noida and Greater Noida, the price of petrol has dropped by 8 paise to Rs 96.92 per liter and diesel has dropped by 6 paise to Rs 90.08 per litre. In Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, the price of petrol has reduced by 12 paise to Rs 96.35 per liter and diesel has reduced by 11 paise to Rs 89.55 per litre. In Gorakhpur, the price of petrol is being sold 11 paise lower at Rs 96.81 per liter and diesel is being sold 10 paise lower at Rs 89.99 per litre. In Prayagraj, petrol is being sold 14 paise lower at Rs 96.52 and diesel is being sold 13 paise lower at Rs 89.73 per litre.
