Petrol and diesel price update: Fuel rates remain stable on Saturday

Petrol and diesel price update [11 February, 2023]: The fuel prices in the country remains constant on Saturday and costs have been steady for about eight months now. The last country-wide change in fuel rates was on 21 May last year, when Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman slashed excise duty on petrol by Rs 8 per litre and Rs 6 per litre on diesel.

The difference in the price of fuel in the states is due to the tax and the cost of transportation imposed by the central and state government.
