Ratan Tata: The cricket team from Afghanistan recently defeated that of Pakistan. Numerous posts went viral on social media following Afghanistan's victory. A similar post purportedly showed Indian businessman Ratan Tata deciding to gift Afghanistan player Rashid Khan Rs 10 crore following the team's victory over Pakistan.

Furthermore, allegations surfaced on social media that Rashid Khan raised the Indian flag following Afghanistan's victory; thus, the ICC fined Rashid Khan Rs 55 lakh.

Is Ratan Tata actually giving money to Rashid Khan?

Industrialist and former chairman of the Tata Group, Ratan Tata, dismissed any participation in cricket-related matters in a recent tweet. In response to a rumour that has been making the rounds on social media, Mr. Tata made it clear that he has not suggested any fines or prizes for players to the International Cricket Council (ICC) or any other cricket organisation.

Furthermore, he stated, "I have no connection to cricket whatsoever."

The tweet, which was sent from his official account on Twitter, aims to dispel any rumours that he is involved in cricket decisions.
