Stock Market Today: The GIFT Nifty on the NSE IX increased by 77.5 points, or 0.36 percent, at 21,394.50 on Friday, indicating that Dalal Street was off to a good start. On the daily chart, the Nifty finished Thursday 105 points higher, forming a Bullish Piercing candlestick pattern that suggests possible bullish momentum. U.S. stocks recovered most of the losses from the previous day’s close on Thursday, as economic data increased investor risk appetite and fueled expectations that the Federal Reserve would loosen monetary policy.

Bata India

Pankaj Gupta will leave his role as head of retail and franchisee operations, according to the footwear company, and join the Bata group in a global capacity on March 1, 2024.

Tata Motors

A certification that there are no objections to the cancellation of Tata Motors DVR shares has been given by the BSE and NSE. Sebi has made several remarks regarding the proposed scheme of arrangement.

Suven Pharmaceuticals

Commencing on January 2, Himanshu Agarwal will take over as the company’s CFO, succeeding the resignation of Subba Rao Parupalli. Agarwal was previously employed by Bennett & Coleman, Astra Zeneca Pharma, and Akzo Nobel India.

Zomato

The business has refuted rumours that it paid $2 billion to acquire Shiprocket. It kept concentrating on its current operations and now intends to make an acquisition.
