Stock Market Today: The domestic indices NSE Nifty 50 and BSE Sensex had a solid start to the week as indicated by the GIFT Nifty, which is up by nearly 107 points and reached at 24,697.50. The Nifty index held around its 40-day average of 24,150 and had a robust recovery last week. Technical observers predict that this upward trend will continue, with the index perhaps rising above 25,000 in the near future. The Nifty is currently approaching the previous large opening negative gap from August 5th, and it is anticipated that this gap will shortly close, possibly around 24700 levels.

Adani Enterprises
Adani Enterprises Limited (AEL) is a holding company that is publicly listed in India and is a component of the Adani Group. Its business interests span across a number of industries, including edible oils, data centres, road, rail, and water infrastructure, airport operations, and solar manufacture. These are all held through its numerous subsidiaries. By issuing non-convertible debentures (NCDs), the company hopes to raise Rs 800 crore. The initial rise will be Rs 400 crore, with a further Rs 400 crore up for grabs if oversubscription is retained.
Check FII DII Data
The trading activities carried out by domestic institutional investors (DIIs) and foreign institutional investors (FIIs) are the subject of FII and DII data in relation to the Indian stock market. According to provisional data available on the NSE, on August 16, 2024, domestic institutional investors (DII) mopped shares worth Rs 2,606.18 crore, while foreign institutional investors (FII) bought shares worth Rs 766.52 crore.
