Stock Market Today : Dalal Street appeared to be off to a good start on Monday as the GIFT Nifty on the NSE IX moved up 57 points and paved it's way upto 22,647. However, at 73,730, the S&P BSE Sensex ended 0.82% lower, whereas the NSE Nifty50 index closed below the 22,450 mark. The equities that can be examined are City Union Bank, NLC India, HUDCO, Westlife and Deepak Nitrite. Additionally the list of companies that included in the focus are Havells India, which reached a new high and rose about 5%, Container Corporation of India, which closed higher by over 6%, and ICICI Bank, which closed lower ahead of reports.

Manu Rishi Guptha, an investment manager located in Bengaluru, and other minority shareholders of ICICI Securities have filed a class action lawsuit with the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) challenging ICICI Bank's proposal to remove its broking division from the Indian stock exchanges. For the quarter that concluded in March 2024, ICICI Bank recorded a standalone net profit of Rs 10,707 crore, an increase of 17.38% over the previous year.
HCL Technologies
For the quarter that concluded in March 2024, HCL Technologies reported a net profit of Rs 3,995 crore, which represented a little increase year over year. In principle, NBCC's request to establish a wholly owned subsidiary in Dubai has been granted. The East Coast Railway has placed an order with Ircon International worth Rs 1,198 crore.
