Stock Market Today: GIFT Nifty indicates a bullish start; L&T Finance, Whirlpool India in focus

Stock Market Today: The GIFT Nifty has gained 84 points, suggesting that the wider index in India is off to a good start. Today it saw gains in Asian markets following the U.S. Federal Reserve's decision to hold the Federal Funds rate at 5.5% to 5.25% and modify its "dot plot" to predict just one rate reduction this year. After reaching a new high of 23,441 during intraday trading, the Nifty 50 finished the day higher on June 12. The Sensex is only 30 points from its record high of 77,079 points.

L&T Finance

One of the top non-banking financial companies in India is L&T Finance Limited (previously known as L&T Finance Holdings Limited). It has a significant presence in the loan industry and serves both served and underserved consumers' varied financing needs. According to sources, Bain Capital is expected to sell its whole share in L&T Finance through a block deal of Rs 1,500 crore.

Whirlpool India

As a subsidiary of Whirlpool Corporation, Whirlpool of India Ltd. is dedicated to become the greatest kitchen and laundry company in the world and is always looking for ways to make life better at home.
