Stock Market Today: The GIFT Nifty has gained 84 points, suggesting that the wider index in India is off to a good start. Today it saw gains in Asian markets following the U.S. Federal Reserve’s decision to hold the Federal Funds rate at 5.5% to 5.25% and modify its “dot plot” to predict just one rate reduction this year. After reaching a new high of 23,441 during intraday trading, the Nifty 50 finished the day higher on June 12. The Sensex is only 30 points from its record high of 77,079 points.

L&T Finance

One of the top non-banking financial companies in India is L&T Finance Limited (previously known as L&T Finance Holdings Limited). It has a significant presence in the loan industry and serves both served and underserved consumers’ varied financing needs. According to sources, Bain Capital is expected to sell its whole share in L&T Finance through a block deal of Rs 1,500 crore.

Whirlpool India
