Stock Market Today: Dalal Street appeared to be off to a good start on Tuesday as the GIFT Nifty on the NSE IX moved higher by 76.50 points, at 22,243. As mild buying demand from the 21821 lows supported a technical pullback, the Nifty finished 49 points higher over the 22,100 mark today, creating a hammer candle on the daily charts and enabling the index to conclude in the upper quadrant of the trading range. ABB India, which had an amazing jump of over 11%, Siemens, which closed with a fantastic gain of over 7% to achieve a new record high, and Polycab India, which saw an increase of over 4% on Monday, were among the stocks under spotlight.

Vedanta

With its main operations in iron ore, gold, and aluminium mines in Goa, Karnataka, Rajasthan, and Odisha, Vedanta Limited is a multinational mining company based in India. The business is thinking about using equity shares or other means, like a rights issue or further public offering (FPO), to raise money. It is anticipated that the choice will be made in full at the next board meeting on May 16.

ICICI Securities

Private wealth management, retail and institutional broking, investment banking, and distribution of financial products are just a few of the financial services provided by technology-driven ICICI Securities Ltd. Non-institutional minority shareholders of ICICI Securities had challenged the company’s delisting and merger with ICICI Bank; the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) had postponed the case. As of right now, July is when the case is predicted to be heard.
