Stock Market Today: With a gain of around 105 points, GIFT Nifty on the NSE IX closed at approximately 22,686. It shows that Dalal Street got off to a good start as of today. Profit-taking is observed in the Indian market as a result of muted global signals. The Nifty50 ended below 22,500, while the S&P BSE Sensex fell by more than 700 points. The list of focused stocks includes few names. Ajanta Pharma, closed on Friday gain over 6% ; Hindustan Zinc closed with gains of over 9%. However BHEL closed with gains of over 4% . The Nifty 50, a well-known indicator of premium equities dropped by 0.8%. Meanwhile the S&P BSE Sensex had a 1% decrease in day trading due mostly to the performance of IT sectors.

YES Bank

Full-service commercial bank YES BANK, with its main office in Mumbai, provides retail, MSME, and corporate customers with a comprehensive range of goods, services, and digital solutions. On Friday, block agreements were used by US investment firm Carlyle Group to sell 59,40,00,000 shares, or roughly 2% of the company, in Yes Bank.

IDBI Bank

The Government of India and the Life Insurance Corporation of India are the proprietors of the IDBI Bank Limited, also known as IDBI Bank or IDBI. It is a development financing organisation. IDBI Bank’s net profit for the quarter that ended in March 2024 increased 44% year over year to Rs 1,628 crore. At Rs 3,688 crore, its net interest income (NII) rose by 12%.
