Stock Market Today: Gift Nifty (formerly known as SGX Nifty) denotes a flat beginning. At 23,267, Nifty futures on the Gift Nifty traded 62 points lower. Despite significant swings to either side brought on by election-related volatility, domestic equities concluded the previous week close to all-time highs. Early this week, early trading on Indian government bond yields is expected to rise, following a spike in U.S. Treasury yields. This increase comes after strong economic indicators in the world's largest economy reduced expectations of interest rate decreases. India's benchmark 10-year yield is expected to move between 7.01% to 7.06% on Monday after closing at 7.0168% on Friday, according to a trader from a state-run bank.

Dalmia Bharat
Dalmia Bharat's wholly-owned subsidiary Dalmia Cement would purchase 26% of Solarcraft Power India 23 Pvt Ltd's equity share capital and mandatory convertible debentures, respectively, according to the company's exchange filing. The acquisition consists of 8.44 million mandatory debentures valued at Rs 8.43 crore and equity shares totaling Rs 10.31 crore.
