Nifty formed a Doji candle by ending roughly 48 points higher than the weekly expiry. Rupee strengthened; Asian stocks rose
The rupee climbed against the US dollar for the second straight session, gaining 27 paisa to settle at 82.72 on Wednesday, marking the biggest one-day gain in over two months.

Reliance Industries
Reliance Retail Ventures Limited (RRVL), the retail arm of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), said in a filing to the stock exchange on Wednesday that the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) will invest Rs 8,278 crore through a wholly-owned subsidiary. The investment made by QIA will result in a 0.99% minority ownership in RRVL.

The Power Transmission & Distribution Business of Larsen & Toubro has received new orders in the Middle East. The firm has received a request to construct a 220kV Gas Insulated Substation and associated Transmission Lines in the United Arab Emirates from a reputable energy services provider. Additionally, two new 132kV substations and a 220kV overhead transmission line have been ordered for the region by a public services infrastructure company in Dubai.
