Stock Market Today: The NSE IX's GIFT Nifty increased by 2.5 points, or 0.01 percent, to 21,079.5-, indicating that Dalal Street would likely have a quiet start to the week. Equities recovered from their losses on Thursday, closing at all-time highs on Friday as Governor Shaktikanta Das of the Reserve Bank of India gave a dovish speech and the bank's policy action followed expectations. The Reserve Bank of India kept its forecast for inflation for the current fiscal year at 5.4%, which caused the rupee to drop 4 paise to close at 83.40 against the US dollar on Friday.

Tata Motors

The automaker has declared that, as of January 1, 2024, the prices of commercial vehicles would rise by up to 3%. This move, which was announced to the stock exchanges, aims to offset the effects of the material cost increase.

Cipla

The pharmaceutical business announced that one batch of Vigabatrin for Oral Solution, USP is being voluntarily recalled by its US subsidiary, InvaGen Pharmaceuticals Inc. This recall was started because of problems with the seal, which could allow powder to spill out of the pouch and possibly cause a difference between the amount of medicine that is actually in the pack and what is labelled.

Wipro

Four people with knowledge of the development told Mint that founder chairman Azim Premji is unhappy with the way executive chairman Rishad Premji and chief executive Thierry Delaporte are handling the nation's fourth-largest information technology services company. In the interim, Stephanie Trautman has left her position as the company's chief growth officer.
