Stock Market Today: GIFT Nifty indicates a flat start; Wipro, JSW Energy in focus

Stock Market Today: GIFT Nifty on the NSE IX down by 16 points to 22,423.50, indicating that Dalal Street will likely have a quiet start to the day. On the daily chart, the Nifty finished 49 points lower to form another Doji candle. The index is currently retesting the breakout it produced last week at 22300. Wednesday’s opening of Tokyo shares was lower as investors around the world booked profits following recent gains. The larger Topix index slid nearly 9.54 points, to 2,710.39, while the benchmark Nikkei 225 index down 0.60 percent, or 242.18 points, to 39,855.45 in early trade.

Wipro

Together, General Motors (GM) and Wipro are creating a B2B sales platform for the purchase and sale of automotive software. The goal of the SDVerse platform is to completely transform the sourcing and procurement process for automotive software.

JSW Energy

For the first project of a 250 MW / 500 MWh standalone battery energy storage system, JSW Renew Energy Five, a wholly owned subsidiary of JSW Neo Energy and a step-down company of JSW Energy, has signed a battery energy storage purchase agreement (BESPA).

IRCTC

IRCTC and Swiggy have an agreement in place for IRCTC e-Catering Services to deliver pre-ordered meals to passengers. The stations in Bengaluru, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, and Bhubaneswar would be the first to offer the services.
