Stock Market Today

Stock Market Today: The Indian benchmark indices opens in the green today. Sensex increases more than 150 points, and Nifty is above 18150.

Asia's stock markets saw uneven trading

Hong Kong's Hang Seng fell 1.31%, China's Shanghai Composite index down 0.65%, South Korea's KOSPI increased by 0.48%, and Japan's Nikkei 225 increased by 1%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA), the S&P 500, and the tech-heavy Nasdaq all saw gains overnight as the US market closed largely in the green.

Stock Market on Thursday

The NSE Nifty 50 dropped 51.8 points or 0.28% to 18,129.95 on Thursday, and the BSE Sensex slid 128 points or 0.21% to 61,431.74.

Asian equivalents are trading higher as a result of overnight gains in the US market. Positive developments in the debt-ceiling talks increased the likelihood of avoiding a disastrous US default, which increased the dollar's value and raised bond yields. On the other hand, pressure was put on crude oil prices.
