After closing at 22,519.40, the Nifty had lost 234.40 points, while the Sensex had lost 793.25 points and reached at 74,244.90. Nifty closed at about 22,500, and other Indian benchmark indices finished lower as a result of selling across all sectors. A little more than 1305 shares increased, 1988 shares decreased, and 68 shares stayed the same.
