Top 5 Stocks Of The Day: On the Nifty, the top gainers are Adani Enterprises, Tata Consumer, M&M, IndusInd Bank, and Adani Ports; the top losers are Apollo Hospitals, Bajaj Auto, LTIMindtree, Eicher Motors, and UPL. With the exception of the healthcare sector, every other sectoral index finished up by 0.5–1%, including the banks, capital goods, metal, and power indices. The smallcap index increased by 0.5 percent, and the BSE midcap index gained over 1 percent.

Sensex and NSE Nifty50

The Nifty was up 31.60 points, or 0.14 percent, at 21,982.80 at the closing, while the Sensex was up 195.42 points, or 0.27 percent, at 72,500.30. A little over 1650 shares rose, 1649 shares fell, and 86 shares remained constant. Despite extreme volatility, the session finished positively for Indian benchmark indices on February 29.
