S&P Global Market Intelligence

Real GDP growth in 2024 was revised by S&P Global Market Intelligence to 2.5 percent from 2.3 percent before, mostly due to an increase in growth estimates for the US, Canada, UK, and the Euro Zone. It did, however, issue a warning that the inflation outlook is still uncertain. Based on its February Global Economic Forecast Update, S&P Global Market Intelligence projects that the US will have real GDP growth of 2.4 percent, up from 1.7 percent. This is because of an atypically robust growth in the last quarter of 2023, which is likely to continue into early 2024.
