Crisil gains after strong Q4 results
Due to a high base, CRISIL saw a 6.3% year-over-year decline in its consolidated profit for the quarter ended in December 2022, falling to Rs 158.02 crore.
The profit for the fourth quarter of FY22 was inflated by an exceptional gain of Rs. 45.82 crore from the sale of real estate.
For the quarter, total operating revenue increased by 16.5% YoY to Rs 822.3 crore. Operating EBITDA increased by 12.3% YoY to Rs 216.2 crore, but margin decreased by 98 bps YoY as a result of rising employee costs and other expenses.
