Top 5 stocks of the day: The biggest gainers on the Nifty were Infosys, Asian Paints, HCL Technologies, Reliance Industries, and Hero MotoCorp, while losers included LTIMindtree, Britannia Industries, State Bank of India, HDFC Life, and Titan Company. While the smallcap index lost 0.4 percent, the BSE midcap index finished unchanged. The metal and real estate indices both fell by almost 1%, while the electricity and information technology indices both increased by 1%.

On July 18, benchmark indices saw gains despite volatility, with the Nifty hovering around 19,750. At closing, the Nifty was up 37.80 points or 0.19% at 19,749.30 and the Sensex was up 205.21 points, or 0.31%, at 66,795.14. A total of 1384 shares increased, 1958 fell, and 118 were unchanged.

Netweb Technologies IPO records 4.64 times booking

On the second day of the auction on July 18, the Netweb Technologies initial public offering received a strong reaction from investors, with the offer being subscribed 4.64 times. In response to an initial public offering of 88.58 lakh equity shares, bids have been received for 4.1 crore equity shares.

The issue continues to be supported by high net worth individuals and retail investors, who have subscribed 8.1 times and 5.62 times, respectively.
