Top 5 stocks of the day: The Nifty's top gainers were M&M, Apollo Hospitals, Power Grid Corporation, Reliance Industries, and Tata Motors, while the Nifty's biggest losses were Eicher Motors, HDFC Life Insurance, Maruti Suzuki, HCL Technologies, and Bajaj Finance. Power, Oil & Gas, and Realty saw increases of 2% each, while Auto and Healthcare saw increases of 1% apiece. Both the BSE midcap index and smallcap index increased by 8% and 7%, respectively.

Benchmark indices closed on a high note on July 6, with the Nifty hitting 19,500. According to persons familiar with the situation, according to a report by Bloomberg News on Thursday, Adani Green Energy is considering raising approximately $1.5 billion to finance its green diversification in India.

The board of the renewable energy division of billionaire Gautam Adani is scheduled to examine strategies for raising money from institutional investors on Thursday, the company announced earlier this week in a stock exchange filing.
