Top 5 stocks of the day: TV18 spurts 3% on the back of a strategic deal for subsidiary Viacom18
In a recent filing with the BSE, Viacom18 reported that the transaction for the strategic collaboration with Reliance, Bodhi Tree Systems, and Paramount Global had been completed. The TV18 Company's subsidiary, Viacom 18 Media Private Limited, is a business.
The media statement further stated that Viacom18 has Rs 15,145 crores in cash on hand and plans to revolutionise the digital industry. The media and entertainment industry will be the centre of the strategic partnership with Reliance, Bodhi Tree Systems, and Paramount Global, and Viacom18 will continue to be a controlled subsidiary of TV18.
