Top 5 stocks of the day: NTPC, Bajaj Finance, IndusInd Bank, UltraTech Cement, and Bajaj Finserv were among the Nifty's biggest gainers; on the other hand, Hindalco Industries, Bajaj Auto, Hero MotoCorp, TCS, and Maruti Suzuki were among its worst losses. Power, healthcare, and oil & gas all posted gains of 0.5 percent or more, while PSU Bank increased by 2 percent overall. Smallcap and midcap indices on the BSE increased by 0.6 percent apiece.

Sensex and Nifty

The benchmark indices increased at the close of trading on July 19, with the Nifty closing at roughly 19,850. The Sensex was up 302.30 points or 0.45% at the closing, and the Nifty was up 83.90 points or 0.42% at 19,833.20. 1365 shares fell, 1961 increased, and 119 remained unchanged.

TV18 Broadcast Q1 profit jumps 31.7% YoY to Rs 44.33 crore

In comparison to the same quarter last fiscal year, TV18 Broadcast's consolidated profit increased significantly by 31.7% year over year, reaching Rs 44.33 crore. Operating revenue increased by 151% YoY to Rs 3,176 crore, mostly due to the success of IPL on JioCinema. For the quarter ended June of FY24, consolidated operating EBITDA was down from Rs 58 crore to Rs (-54) crore.
