Top 5 stocks of the day: Power Grid Corporation, Coal India, ONGC, Asian Paints and Sun Pharma are its biggest winners while HDFC Bank, JSW Steel, Reliance Industries, BPCL, and SBI Life Insurance are the Nifty's biggest losers. With the exception of power, all other sectoral indexes ended in the negative, with the losses in the bank, metal and real estate sectors totaling 1% apiece.

The Nifty was down by 231.90 points at 19,901.40 at closure, and the Sensex was down by 796 points at 66,800.84. A total of 1510 shares increased, 2034 fell, and 137 remained constant. On September 20, benchmark indices finished lower for the second day in a row, with Nifty hovering around 19,900. The BSE smallcap index fell 0.5 percent, while the midcap index lost 0.30 percent.

Yatra Online public offering was 1.16 times subscribed

According to subscription data accessible with exchanges, the Yatra Online public offering was 1.16 times subscribed on September 20, the last day of bidding, with offers for 3.6 crore equity shares versus an offer size of 3.09 crore shares. Retail investors have so far bought 1.99 times the authorised limit, or 10% of the offer size, giving the issue a respectable amount of support. The percentage of the IPO size designated for qualified institutional buyers (QIB) and high net worth individuals, which is 75% and 15% respectively, received 1.28 times and 39% of the total subscriptions.
