Rupee drops to its lowest level
The Indian rupee fell to its lowest level in more than ten months, following broad declines in Asian peers and due to concerns about the price of oil. From 83.04 in the previous session, the rupee decreased to 83.1800 to the US dollar. Following a fresh increase in U.S. Treasury yields, Asian currencies fell. On speculations that the US Federal Reserve will keep rates higher for longer, the 10-year U.S. yield increased to 4.26%.
