Top 5 Stocks Of The Day: Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj Finance, SBI, Divis Labs, and UPL were among the Nifty’s top losers, while Tata Motors, TCS, IndusInd Bank, Power Grid Corp, and Sun Pharma were among the top gainers. Sectors: Oil & Gas index fell 1%, while Auto, Capital Goods, IT, Pharma, and Real Estate all had increases of 0.5–1% each. The BSE Smallcap and Midcap indices had a slightly negative finish.

Sensex and NSE Nifty50

The Nifty was up 76.30 points, or 0.34 percent, at 22,198.30 at the closing, while the Sensex was up 305.09 points, or 0.42 percent, at 73,095.22. A little over 1340 shares increased, 1968 shares decreased, and 72 shares remained the same. Indian rupee closed steady against the dollar at 82.90, down from its previous finish of 82.89. Benchmark indices in India concluded the tumultuous session on February 27 with gains.

IPO of Exicom Tele-Systems was fully subscribed

Within hours of its opening on February 27, the Rs 429-crore initial public offering (IPO) of Exicom Tele-Systems saw all of its shares snapped up by HNIs and regular investors alike. There were 5.8 subscriptions to the public offer. High net worth people (HNIs) selected 10.4 times the number of shares allocated to them, while the amount reserved for retail investors was filled eighteen times over. The Gurugram-based EV charger manufacturer is reserving approximately 75% of its initial public offering for qualified institutional purchasers, 15% for non-institutional investors, and the remaining 10% for individual investors.
