Shalby hits 52-week high; diversification
Shalby shares increased by 7% on July 14, reaching a 52-week high of Rs 192, as the underlying attitude remained positive. Shares of the company were up 5.3 percent to Rs 188.55 at 12:32 p.m. on the BSE.
The stock's 30% gain over the previous month reflects the optimism. This resulted from Shalby holding a 15 percent market share of all joint replacement surgeries performed by organised private corporate hospitals, making it the industry leader in arthroplasty procedures. Analysts also contend that the upswing has been strengthened by diversification and a positive outlook for the implant sector in key areas.
