Investors purchased 42.39 crore shares of Bharti Hexacom on April 5, the last day of bidding, demonstrating the strong reaction to the public offering. That is 10.28 times the amount of shares that were offered for sale—4.12 crore shares. Buying 15 times the allocated quota, qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) led the charge.
