Top 5 Stocks Of The Day: Axis Bank, Tech Mahindra, NTPC, TCS, and Shriram Finance are among the top Nifty gainers; Nestle India, Bajaj Auto, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Britannia Industries, and Dr. Reddy's Laboratories are among the losers. Regarding the industry, the Realty index saw a 2.5 percent decline, while the Auto index saw a 0.4 percent decline. However, the indexes for Power, PSU Bank, and Information Technology and Media all saw increases of 1% and 0.5 percent, respectively. BSE midcap index rose 0.6 percent and smallcap index gained 1 percent.

The Nifty was down 18.60 points, or 0.08 percent, at 22,434.70, and the Sensex was down 27.09 points, or 0.04 percent at 73,876.82 at the closing. A total of 914 shares fell, 2623 shares increased, and 82 shares remained unchanged. On April 3, the Indian equities indices finished the extremely tumultuous day flat.
