Top 5 stocks of the day: Top Nifty gainers included Wipro, LTIMindtree, ITC, L&T, and TCS; losers included Adani Enterprises, Eicher Motors, Cipla, NTPC, and UltraTech Cement. The majority of the sectors saw gains at the end, with electricity, oil and gas, FMCG, capital goods, and information technology all rising 1-2 percent, while banks and healthcare fell 0.5 percent apiece. The BSE Smallcap and Midcap indices had a slightly positive finish.

Sensex and NSE Nifty50

The Nifty was up 82.60 points, or 0.40 percent, at 20,937.70 at closure, while the Sensex was up 357.59 points, or 0.52 percent, at 69,653.73. A little over 1659 shares rose, 1592 shares fell, and 82 shares remained constant. On December 6, benchmark indices concluded favourably, with the Nifty closing at 20,950.

Adani Group Of Stocks Have Outperformed Nifty 50

Over the past seven days, the Adani Group of Stocks has outperformed the Nifty 50. The group companies have experienced gains of between 16% and 63%. Adani Total Gas, one stock that has more than doubled investor wealth, has increased in value over the past seven days by more than 60%. In addition, the stock has dropped the most year-to-date by as much as 70.5%, and it is currently trading at a 73% discount to its 52-week high. Adani Power and Adani Ports, two Adani group enterprises, reached 52-week highs during this period.
