Within a week of taking over Twitter, a large number of people have been fired from the micro-blogging site. Employees around the world are coming under the grip of layoffs in Twitter.

In such a situation, the big question is, how much compensation is the company giving as compensation to those who have been fired? The new head of Twitter, Elon Musk himself has clarified the situation in a tweet.

Let us know how much compensation are being given to the employees of Twitter, who have been issued a decree to be fired?

Amidst reports of layoffs in Twitter, Elon Musk has said that it is sad that we have no other option as the company is losing $ 4 million (Rs 32.78 crore) every day. Those who have been fired are being paid by the company equal to three months' salary (severance pay). This is twice the amount required to pay for workers who are legally fired. Severance pay is the amount that the company pays to its employees as compensation during the termination of their agreement. Now Musk himself has revealed by tweeting that the employees who are fired will be given three months of severance pay.

Twitter has shown the way out of 50 percent of its employees

Musk, who bought this micro-blogging platform a week ago for $ 44 billion, has made many fundamental changes in the company in the last seven days. These included steps like laying off about 3700 out of 7500 employees of Twitter worldwide. It has been told that the employees who were fired have been stripped of access to the company's computer and e-mail on Friday itself.
