Buying Electric Vehicles in UP gets cheaper, Govt Sanctions heavy Subsidies For EVs, Apply here to get benefits

EV Subsidy in UP: If you are planning to buy an Electric Vehicle in Uttar Pradesh, we have a good news for you, UP Government has decided to grant heavy subsdies on EVs to promote the Overall sector growth in Uttar Pradesh. UP Govt. has also launched a portal to bring transparency in the implementation of the Initiative. If you want to take benefits of this EV Subsidy, you can apply for the same on the Authorised Portal Upevsubsidy.in.

Those EV owner who purchased their EV Vehicle after October, 2022, they can regiister themselves on the portal for taking the benefits of thid EV Subsidy. You documents will be checked on four levels, after the document verification, if you documents were found genuine, the subsidy amount will be transfered into your bank account.

Government Launches Portal to Bring Policy Transparency

A noticeable thing about the Initiative is that Government has launched a Portal to bring transparency in tracking the records of Subsidy Imbursement, this portal will also enable beneficiaries to get their Subsidy amount as soon as possible in their bank accounts. UPDESCO has designed this portal. This Subsidy Policy will come to an end till 13 oct, 2023.

For your information, let us tell you that this policy is only applicable for one Electric car and if you buy more than one Electric car, you will not get subsidized for those vehicles. On the other hands, fleet operator can also avail the benefits of this policy, they can take subsidy on upto 10 Electric Vehicles

400 Non- Government Buses Will Get Subsidy

As per reports, In the first phase, subsidy will be given to two lakh two-wheelers. If you purchase an Electric bike, you will get the subsidy of Rs. 5000. On the other side, only 25000 Electric cars will get subsidized, one noticeable thing is that the buyer Four-wheeler EV will get upto 1 lakh Subsidy on their vehicle. Govt. plans to also give subsidy to 400 Non-Government Electric Buses, so, if someone buy an E-Bus for Bussiness, he will get the subsidy of upto 20 lakh.
