Citroen eC3: This month, Citroen plans to introduce the C3 compact hatchback to the domestic market in an electrified form. It has already been hinted at and occasionally seen being tested. The zero-emission five-seater, known as the eC3, is anticipated to cost between Rs. 10 lakh and Rs. 12.5 lakhs (ex-showroom), and it may compete with the recently released Tata Tiago EV.

All about Citroen eC3
There will be many similarities between the Citroen eC3 and the regular ICE variant. The charging port has been fitted to the front fender, and the exhaust pipe has been removed as the most noticeable changes. A new drive controller will replace the manual stick shifter in the cabin, which will otherwise be almost identical to that of the C3 with petrol power.
Recent spy photos of the Citroen eC3's interior reveal that it lacks automatic climate control and keyless entry, but that the Eco mode is included. The list of features will include a four-speaker audio system, a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, steering wheel controls, remote central locking, etc.
Battery and power
The LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) cells for the eC3 will be purchased by the French producer from Svolt Energy. It will include a 30.2 kWh battery that will power an electric motor attached to the front axle. It is capable of producing 84 horsepower and 143 Nm. The claimed driving range is 350 kilometres on a single charge, and it will include a 3.3 kW onboard AC charger.
