Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath said he will visit flood-affected families in Chitrakoot to assess the situation and review relief and rehabilitation arrangements following flooding in parts of the district.
The Chief Minister said he will reach the affected areas of Chitrakoot, considered the sacred land associated with Lord Kamta Nath, and meet families affected by the floods. He is also scheduled to take stock of the difficulties being faced by residents and the assistance being provided by the administration.
As part of the relief efforts, Yogi Adityanath said an aerial survey of flood-affected areas will be conducted to assess the extent of the situation and review the ground-level impact of the flooding.
Relief Material for 800 Flood-Affected Families: CM Yogi Adityanath
The Chief Minister announced that relief material will be provided to 800 flood-affected families. The assistance is intended to support families dealing with the immediate impact of the disaster.
The state government is also focusing on the rehabilitation of families who have been left without shelter due to the floods. According to the Chief Minister, land allotment certificates for housing will be provided to families who have lost their shelter.
Financial Assistance from Disaster Relief Fund
Flood-affected families will also receive financial assistance from the State Disaster Response Fund, according to the announcement. The move is aimed at providing immediate support to people affected by the natural disaster and helping them begin the process of recovery.
Yogi Adityanath said the government’s priority is to ensure that assistance reaches every affected person. He emphasised that families who have lost their homes should receive support for rehabilitation and rebuilding their lives.
