Dehradun News: Residents up in arms against shabby roads, Potholes; want authorities to act soon!

Dehradun News: The residents of the city have been complaining to the District administration about the poor condition of roads which are heading towards the areas like Parade Ground, Rangers Ground and Gandhi Park. Although the companies have spent lots of money on the renovation and maintenance of these roads, they are still in a terrible condition. The road outside the Gandhi park and Rajpur Road is filled with Potholes and it invites risk for people in two wheelers and people who are sitting in Rickshaw would face trouble anytime if these aren’t fixed timely.

Potholes pose threat to Two Wheelers

The situation is worse not only here, if the authorities will have a look at the Red Light at the Ranger’s Ground, that road is also in a very poor state and needs attention. According to some of the locals, these roads need to be looked upon immediately, they pose threat to the people passing through these routes everyday especially the Pot Holes. The parts of pant Road, Subhash Road and Cross Road needs to be fixed

All Roads will be looked upon by the end of the Month’

However the authorities are saying these roads have been damaged due to the continuous rain in the city. These will be taken care of when the weather gets back to normal . All roads and Potholes will be worked upon by the end of this month.
