Delhi: Gyms & yoga institutes permitted to open

In the capital Delh from Monday i.e., Gym and Yoga Center will be open from today. The Delhi government has issued a formal order under the guidelines of Unlock-4 (Unlock-4) issued by the Center.

Gyms and yoga institutes have been allowed to open in the national capital from Monday.
According to the order, the gym and yoga institute have been allowed to open with immediate effect. However, during this time they will have to implement the standard operating procedure (SOP) issued by the central government.

According to the order issued by the Delhi government, the weekly market has also been allowed to open till 30 September. From September 14 to September 30, a weekly market will open in one day in all the 3 Municipal Corporations / NDMC / Delhi Cantonment Board.

“The situation of Covid-19 in Delhi has been reviewed and it has been decided that present arrangement of opening of weekly markets on trial basis i.e. one weekly market per day per zone in all three Municipal Corporations/New Delhi Municipal Council/ Delhi Cantonment Board (except in containment zones) may be continued till 30.09.2020 and Gymnasiums and Yoga institutes may also be allowed to open subject to strict compliance of SOP issued by MoH&FW, GOI in this regard,” the notification stated.

India has over 47 lakh coronavirus cases as of today with a single-day spike of 94,372 infections. The death count has risen to 78,586 with 1,114 more fatalities in 24 hours.
