Delhi Records Minimum Temperature Of 27.8 Degree Celsius

Delhi on Monday recorded a minimum temperature of 27.8 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season’s average. The Meteorological Department has predicted cloudy sky in the city on Monday.

The relative humidity stood at 63 per cent at 8.30 am. Also, the maximum temperature is likely to be around 41 degree Celsius. Parts of the national capital received light rain on Sunday evening with a maximum temperature of 40.7 degrees Celsius, which is normal for this season.


Light rain lashed parts of the national capital on Sunday evening, bringing respite from the scorching heat.

The Meteorological Department said that the maximum temperature was recorded at 40.7 degrees Celsius, which is normal for this season, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 28.7 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season’s average.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the weather is likely to be pleasant on Monday. An IMD official said that the city will remain partly cloudy on Monday with a chance of thunder and lightning. The maximum and minimum temperatures in the city are 41 and 28 degrees Celsius respectively. The humidity level in the air ranged between 61 per cent and 49 per cent.

According to the data of the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the 24-hour air quality in Delhi was recorded in the ‘poor’ category on Sunday morning and the air quality index (AQI) was recorded at 273 at 4 pm. AQI between zero and 50 ‘good’, 51 and 100 ‘satisfactory’, 101 and 200 ‘moderate’, 201 and 300 ‘poor’, 301 and 400 ‘very poor’.
