Special attention was given to transport, crowd flow, and traffic management. Officials were directed to create comprehensive plans for parking, alternative routes, and regulated movement across zones and sectors to prevent congestion. Dhami also asked authorities to design detailed arrangements for bathing schedules, accommodation facilities, and emergency services, keeping in mind the massive footfall expected during the event.
The Chief Minister highlighted the need for inter-departmental coordination and immediate implementation of decisions taken during review meetings. He also stressed inclusive planning, calling for dedicated facilities for women, senior citizens, and differently-abled devotees so they can access ghats and services without difficulty or long waiting periods.
Calling the upcoming Kumbh an opportunity to showcase administrative efficiency and cultural heritage, Dhami said the 2027 edition should be “divine, grand, and historic,” adding that the real measure of success would be flawless on-ground execution and a safe, comfortable experience for every visitor.
