Domestic stock market is witnessing a boom today amidst mixed global signals

Stock Market Update Today: The domestic stock market is witnessing a boom today amidst mixed global signals. Both Sensex and Nifty indices have strengthened in today’s trading. Sensex has gained more than 200 points, while Nifty has reached near 15500. Good buy in IT and Auto stocks. Both the indices have gained more than 1 per cent on Nifty.

Bank and financial indices are seeing a rise of about half a percent. There is slight pressure on the realty index. Other major indices including FMCG, metal and pharma are seen in the green. At present, the Sensex is up by 227 points and it is trading at the level of 52050.

While Nifty is trading 72 points higher at the level of 15485. Today is buying in heavyweight stocks. 27 stocks of Sensex 30 are in green mark. Today’s top gunners include BHARTIARTL, MARUTI, WIPRO, TCS, INDUSINDBK and ICICIBANK.

Talking about global cues, some buying is being seen in the major Asian markets in today’s business. On the other hand, on Wednesday, the US markets could not continue the recovery and closed on the decline.

There has been some relief on the Brent crude front. In the international market, crude has come down to $ 109 per barrel. While US crude is at $104 per barrel. The 10-year bond yield in the US stands at 3.158 per cent. The US Fed said that it would take all possible steps to fight inflation.

Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj Auto, Bharti Airtel, Wipro and Divis Labs were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Apollo Hospitals, ONGC, Titan Company, Power Grid Corporation and SBI Life Insurance.

Airtel, Wipro, Maruti, ICICI Bank, Ultratech Cement, Asian Paints, TCS, M&M and Dr Reddy’s were the top Sensex gainers, while Titan, PowerGrid, Reliance, HDFC twins, Kotak Bank, meanwhile, were the top losers.

Benchmark indices opened marginally higher amid mixed global cues. The Sensex was up 22.82 points or 0.04% at 51845.35, and the Nifty was up 13.20 points or 0.09% at 15426.50.
