Facelifted sedan announces launch date in India; To be launched on August 18

New Delhi: The facelifted Honda Amaze will be available in fours trims: E, S, V and VX. Like before, the sedan will receive the 1.2 litre petrol and 1.5 litre diesel engine options, paired with a speed manual and an optional CVT. That said that, only the two top spec trims V and VX will be getting all the powertrains.

The new Honda Amaze gets new projector LED headlamps and C-shaped LED tail lamps. Also an updated chrome slat grille and the front bumper is there.

Save for the new gear knob, the silver accents on the steering wheel, gear lever and the dashboard is same as the pre-facelift model. Features has a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, steering-mounted audio controls, cruise control, and keyless entry with push-button start.

Passenger safety should be taken care of the dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors with a camera.

Here’s the details you need to know about the facelifted Amaze’s trims:

E

The E is the Amaze’s entry-level trim. It comes with essentials such as:

Halogen headlamps

Incandescent bulbs for tail lamps

Fabric seat upholstery

Manual air conditioning

Dust and pollen air filter (new)

Multi-info display

Front and rear power windows

Drive-side auto up/down window

Moving up a step is the mid-spec S trim. It is the only choice if you want a petrol-CVT Amaze in a lower-spec trim. It comes with all the features available in the E as well as:

Leather-wrapped gear knob (manual) (new)
