Google Celebrates International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day Google Doodle: Today, International Women’s Day is being celebrated all over the world, on this occasion Google has also dedicated a special Google Doodle honoring women in its own way. Google has depicted the lives of today’s women through Animated Doodle through this an attempt has been made to show their sacrifice, hard work, patience and unconditional love.

Google Doodle has shown in an interesting way how in today’s era women take responsibility from working mother to motor mechanic, how they are handling from a house to space. Women faced challenges and difficulties in every sector, but they are facing them and establishing themselves more strongly.

Women’s Day is celebrated every year with a new theme, this year the theme is Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow. That is, how important gender equality is for a lasting tomorrow.

Nari Shakti Puraskar

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, President Ram Nath Kovind will present Nari Shakti Puraskar to 29 outstanding women for the years 2020 and 2021. The week-long program will end today. On this occasion, a special program will be organized at Rashtrapati Bhavan, where President Ram Nath Kovind will confer the Nari Shakti Puraskar for the years 2020 and 2021.

History of International Women’s Day

The tradition of celebrating Women’s Day started in the year 1908 due to a women’s labor movement. On this day 15,000 women demonstrated in New York City demanding reduced working hours, better wages and some other rights. A year later, the Socialist Party of America declared this day the first National Women’s Day. In 1910, an international conference of working women was held in Copenhagen, in which it was suggested to celebrate this day as International Women’s Day and gradually this day became popular as International Women’s Day all over the world. This day was recognized as International Women’s Day in 1975, when the United Nations started celebrating it with a theme.
