Schools and other educational institutions have also been asked to conduct classes online in view of the adverse weather and difficult road conditions.

Gurugram Schools Advised to Hold Online Classes
Government and private schools in Gurugram have been advised to shift to online classes on August 25. The measure is aimed at ensuring the safety of students and staff as waterlogged roads could make commuting difficult.
Parents and students are advised to follow instructions issued by their respective schools regarding online class schedules and attendance.
Heavy Waterlogging Disrupts Traffic
Several major roads and junctions in Gurugram witnessed water accumulation following the heavy downpour. Areas including Rajiv Chowk, IFFCO Chowk, Railway Road, Sector 5, Old Delhi Road and Mehrauli Road were among the locations affected by waterlogging.
The disruption has resulted in slower traffic and difficulties for commuters in several parts of the city.
Offices Asked to Promote WFH
Corporate establishments have been advised to encourage employees to work from home wherever possible. The move is expected to reduce the number of vehicles on already congested roads and help authorities manage the situation more effectively.
Residents have been advised to avoid unnecessary travel, particularly through heavily waterlogged routes, and to monitor official weather and traffic updates.
