Hapur Viral Video: Another case of a violent attack by family members on lovers getting viral from Hapur, UP. A couple spending time together inside a pizza cafe in the Freeganj Road area of Hapur gets brutally attacked by the brother of the girl.
The brother comes in with an iron rod, beats the boyfriend, and slaps the girl repeatedly. The shocking viral CCTV footage of the incident makes netizens question who gave him the right to punish lovers so brutally.
Fight Breaks Out Inside Hapur Pizza Café
The violent fight at the Hapur pizza cafe is shared by the Ghar Ke Kalesh channel on their official X handle. It shows the couple peacefully enjoying their quality time inside the pizza cafe. But suddenly, the brother of the girlfriend comes with an Iron rod in hand to attack the boyfriend.
The brother grabbed the boyfriend, pushing him towards the wall, and then the other members came to attack him. The girlfriend was seen to call anxiously to someone for help. Then the brother came to slap his sister repeatedly while scolding her. The group of men drag the boyfriend, holding his hair, and move past the range of the CCTV of the pizza cafe.

People watching the viral video are completely shocked by the intense fight. They are considering it to be completely wrong and against the Constitution. One user says, “It is absolutely wrong to suppress the right to love, freedom and individuality in this manner“.
Some wise people are finding it to be a deep-rooted concern of Indian culture that may often also lead to honour killings. One says, “Worst culture of India, cow belt culture. Where normal things like boy meets girl is a crime. But gang rapes, murders, extortion, eve teasing, etc. are considered normal“.
People are mocking the action of the brother, saying, “the best gift a brother can give to his sister“. While others seem to even support the action of the brother, saying “Ladki k bhaiyon ko pta chal gya… Kalesh high hona hi tha, cafe me to aise baithe h, jaise london k kisi cafe me ho, Hapur, Up hai wo“. Considering such repeated cases of Kalesh, one says it wisely, “India is becoming the Kalesh capital of world tolerance“.
What Leads To Such Violence Against Lovers?
Clearly, the Constitution of India gives rights to adults to choose their life partners. Yet even today, families interrupt and often brutally restrict lovers in the name of honour. They put severe restrictions on their daughters and sisters and consider beating their lovers to be justifiable.
The brutality in the brother’s actions, not just towards the boyfriend but also to his own sister, shows his false ideology of honour. However, irrespective of this clear video evidence, no police complaint has been filed yet.
