Heatwave In Bihar

A large part of Bihar is in the grip of severe heat these days. In many areas of the state, common people are facing heat wave. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a forecast regarding the weather of Bihar. The latest update has been issued in the state for 4 days. Meteorologists say that the people of Bihar are not going to get relief from the heatwave at the moment. Particularly in South and Central Bihar, due to the strong hot dry westerly wind, heat-like conditions are prevailing. In view of this, IMD has issued a heatwave alert. Along with this, the common people have also been warned about the scorching heat, so that they take precautions.

The outbreak of heat in Bihar is increasing day by day. Heat wave conditions are prevailing in South Bihar due to the effect of hot and dry winds. Especially in the south-central part, a heatwave warning has been issued by the Meteorological Center for the next 4 days. The Meteorological Department believes that during this time the temperature can reach around 40 to 42 degree Celsius in the afternoon. Due to continuous flow of westerly wind and no rain, the temperature is expected to reach 43 degree Celsius after April 9.

The Meteorological Department has warned that the temperature felt by the human body due to the effect of wind and moisture is higher than the recorded temperature. Therefore, there can be a possibility of heat stroke and heat stress. The Meteorological Department has warned that people will have to protect themselves from the rays of the direct sun. To avoid heatstroke, you have to keep yourself hydrated. For this, it is necessary to keep drinking water and fluids.

Patna was the hottest capital in the state on Wednesday, where the maximum temperature was recorded at 42.8 degrees Celsius. Sheikhpura district remained at number two where the temperature was recorded at 42.2 degree Celsius. Heatwave conditions persisted in Sheikhpura, Buxar, East Champaran and Banka. In the event of non-compliance with the standards, even though heatwave was not declared in 8 districts including Patna, the situation is almost the same.
