Amid Rapid Increase In Daily Cases, Covid Curbs Back In 3 States

Amid increasing cases of corona infection in the country, strictness has now started in many states to stop them. Several states have again made masks mandatory, while many others have advised precautions. The central government is also worried about the increase in cases of infection and several high-level meetings have also been held. Recently, before the Health Minister, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also took a meeting regarding the preparation on Corona.

Covid Curbs Back In 3 States

More than 5000 cases of corona infection have started coming in the country. According to the data released by the Ministry of Health on Sunday morning, there have been more than 5300 cases of infection in the country in 24 hours. A day before this, 6155 cases were reported.

Before that, according to the data released on Friday, there were 6,050 new cases in the country in 24 hours.

The number was 13 per cent higher than the 5,335 cases reported a day earlier on Thursday. Then, for the first time since September 16 last year, the daily cases crossed the 6,000-mark.

The states which have made face masks mandatory as the infection increases include Haryana, Kerala and Puducherry. The Haryana government has made it mandatory to wear face masks in public places as a precautionary measure.

The Health Department of Haryana has urged the public to adopt COVID appropriate behaviour. The district administration and panchayats have been directed to ensure that it is implemented in all parts of the state.
